Course Details

The Mill Creek 50K course consists of 10 laps through a scenic suburb of Mill Creek, Washington. Each lap is 5 kilometers, offering a mix of paved paths, sidewalks, and a little dirt. Enjoy the beauty of suburban living while running yourself in circles!

Roads will not be closed for the event (it's free, after all), so if you participate please be mindful of traffic and other pedestrians. The course is designed, first and foremost, to be convenient and safe. If you pay attention to cars and driveways you shouldn't have any problems out there.

The tentative course is shown below. I'm still trying to get it as close to 5k as possible so there's a chance that it could change slightly. Strava's map shows this at 5.2k but after running it a few times (and running the tangents) it's roughly 5.09k... which is the closest route I've found to 5k that's over 5k.

I'd rather the race end up closer to 51 kilometers than 49 kilometers... when this is all said and done the Mill Creek 50K will absolutely be, at least, a 50 kilometer race.
